Everyone’s going on about the football at the moment, so I thought I’d talk about something different this week. Well, only after I’ve got the feeling of utter disgust and disappointment about Wayne Rooney off my chest! I mean my Gran could do better than him………………..but then again he does treat her well and makes her happy, and who am I to tell her who she can and can’t go out with!
Anyway…………the subject of choice this week is the Brother HL3040CN Colour LED Printer.
The LED technology used in this machine is similar to laser, but it’s apparently more efficient and reliable due to having fewer moving parts. It kicks out full colour prints at a speed of up to 16ppm, has a resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi, has ‘Network ready’ as standard, and gives very impressive results. All this is packed into a very small and quite attractive looking body, plus it retails for a meagre £235.00 ex VAT.
This printer would sit nicely in a small or home office, for up to around six users. The running costs aren’t as good as some of the bigger, more expensive machines, but the low price of the HL3040CN certainly compensates for that.
