European Wholesaler of the Year

We are delighted to announce that JGBM has been awarded 2016 European Wholesaler Of The Year at the European Office Products Awards (EOPA) in Amsterdam last week. The award recognises ‘a dynamic wholesaler which is responding to meet the needs of an ever-changing market’. The judges said that “JGBM impressed the most – its investment in e-commerce as a percentage of revenue is massive. It also does the basics well, boasting a fill rate last year of 98.9% and picking accuracy of 99.99% – just 40 picking errors out of more than 300,000 orders filled”. Judges considered enhancements to logistics infrastructure, e-commerce and ‘delivery to consumer’ capabilities, investments in breadth of product range and brand, service-driven solution offering for resellers, customer satisfaction levels and fill rate, new initiatives, sales and profit growth.

The other nominees for the award were VOW, Corwell, ALSO International & Relef. Fellowes EMEA President Michel Van Beek commented ‘”A well-deserved award and testimony to a strong passionate company that brings true innovation alongside a spirit that is brave enough to do things differently”. John George, our MD also said “To say we’re elated to win this award is an understatement. We have an awesome team here and above all I’m pleased that their hard work and expertise has been recognised at European level. It’s a fantastic testament to them”
