JGBM’s 35 Mile Dartmoor Challenge

April 29, 2016 | By | Reply More

On the 21st May 2016 six JGBM colleagues will be setting out on what has to be described as a “Gruelling 36.6 mile Adventure” across the barren land of Dartmoor. Hiking through marshes, crossing rivers and tackling as many as 27 Tors throughout the Dartmoor national park, including the highest Tor on Dartmoor “Yes Tor”, ascending to the dizzy heights of more than 2000ft at “High Willhays”, this challenge isn’t for the faint hearted, it is however all being done for a very worthwhile cause.

All proceeds raised will be helping Cancer Research UK to continue their great efforts in battling a terrible disease that takes so many people prematurely. Your kind donation will help to put smiles on the faces of families and ultimately help Cancer Research UK in finding a cure, giving loved one’s a far greater chance of survival.

If you are able to donate, however large or small please do so. We will be putting ourselves through what will seem like hell on the 21st-22nd May, but if it helps to save even 1 life then every twisted ankle, cut, bruise or tired limb will be worthwhile.

Please click here and help us achieve our goal of raising money to save lives!

The team will be live-tweeting throughout their walk, follow their progress here!

Any donation is much appreciated so thank you.

A big thank you from,
Rob, Colin, Ryan, Aaron, Mark & Phill
